Seeking applicants for the Sedro-Woolley Housing Authority Board
SWHA is governed by a five-member volunteer Board of Commissioners. Each commissioner is appointed by the Mayor of the City of Sedro-Woolley and approved by the City Council. Sedro-Woolley is looking for commissioners who will provide leadership and accountability to the SWHA to work proactively and collaboratively with the community to be a key partner in addressing homelessness. Commissioners serve staggered five-year terms. More information about the Sedro-Woolley Housing Authority is available at https://www.sedrowoolleyha.org/.
To apply, please prepare a letter of interest with the following information:
- Name, physical address, phone number, email address;
- Personal statement, including any applicable expertise and experience;
- How should a Housing Authority critical role in addressing homelessness;
- How do community partnerships and the consideration of holistic community needs and priorities influence a Housing Authority’s business plan;
- Disclosure of membership in, or affiliation with, any relevant interest groups.
