SWPD maintains a temporary holding facility for stray animals recovered by staff, and impounded strays are often posted on the SWPD Facebook page. It is important to promptly report a missing pet! Chances are your pet may have been picked up or we may have information about your pet's whereabouts.
Please report lost/found animals, loose dogs, animal attacks/bites, injured/neglected animals, or other in-progress animal concerns by calling dispatch at 360-428-3211.
