General Information

The Sedro-Woolley Police Department is a full-service department providing 24-hour law enforcement services within the city limits. The Department has an authorized strength of 20 sworn Officers - a Chief, a Lieutenant, 3 Patrol Sergeants, 2 Detectives, and 13 Patrol Officers. We also have supporting staff made up of a Code Enforcement/ Animal Control Officer, an Offender Work Program Supervisor, a Records Sergeant, and 3 Records Clerks. We are fortunate to have several volunteers that help with Vacation Checks.

The Department has partnerships with other agencies and has 2 members on the county-wide Crisis Negotiation team, 2 Investigators on the Skagit Multiple Agency Response Team, and a member on the County SRRT Team. The Police Department is located in the Municipal Building located at 325 Metcalf Street where we share space with and work closely with the Sedro-Woolley Fire Department.

Any person who believes they have been aggrieved has a right to file a formal complaint with the Sedro-Woolley Police Department. Any such complaint must be in writing and filed with the Sedro-Woolley Police Department Title VI Coordinator within one hundred and eighty (180) days following the date of the alleged discriminatory occurrence.
