Parts of Reed, Warner, 11th and Haines will be briefly closed to through traffic on Tuesday August 9th while the city installs the final fog seal treatment to the newly chip sealed streets. Fog sealing improves the aesthetics of the street surface and helps to seal in any remaining loose rock.

Valdez Construction will be installing a sewer service in Trail Road at the Stendal Street intersection beginning August 8, 2022. The work is anticipated to take up to 5 days.

The new mechanic shop will service fire, police, and public works vehicles and equipment. This replaces the current facility that was built in the 1930’s! There is also a new lab for the wastewater treatment facility, and space for sanitation drivers and other maintenance crews to take their breaks.

Sedro-Woolley is known as the "Gateway to the North Cascades" because it is located on the western edge of the majestic Cascade Mountain Range in northwest Washington State. It is situated north of Seattle, Washington and south of Bellingham, Washington on Highway 20, along the banks of the Skagit River.  Sedro-Woolley was incorporated on December 19, 1898, which officially merged the neighboring towns of Sedro and Woolley into one.
CITY HALL IS LOCATED AT 325 METCALF STREET AND OPEN FROM 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM MONDAY - FRIDAY, CLOSED HOLIDAYS
