Changes are coming to Skagit Transit services in Skagit County starting May 1st as the agency launches a new route and revises some existing schedules. The new Route 101 will expand service in the Burlington area. It will run seven days a week providing access to shopping, job locations and community services.
The Route 300 in Sedro-Woolley will also have changes. Skagit Transit is expanding the route to provide service to Klinger street and to F & S Grade road. There are minor changes to Route 301 and 717 on May 1st. Together, these changes will support the region’s recovery and more easily connect riders to their destinations.
Skagit Transit has introduced a host of ways riders can get information about routes and find out when the next bus is coming, including:
- Real-time bus arrival times signs at kiosk
- Youth Age 18 and younger ride free using the Umo Mobility app
- The UMO Mobility app, is a transit agency app, to locate your bus, plan your trip or to pay your bus fare and view the route details on May 1st, 2023
- Use the Skagit Transit website info strweb.skagittransit.org for real-time bus details and to track your bus on the live map
- Customers may also call Skagit Transit Customer Service at 360-757-4433 8:00am- 4:15pm for assistance or visit the Skagit Station Customer Service office 8:00am-11:30am and 12:30pm-4:15pm Monday to Friday
