November 11th is Veterans Day

City offices will be closed on Friday, November 11th, to honor all military veterans who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Mary Purcell Elementary and Central Elementary Veterans Day Parade in Sedro-Woolley on Thursday, November 10 - The event staging area begins at Central Elementary and the Walking Parade begins around 10:40am. Both schools will line up near Central Elementary at 6^th Street and Talcott to begin the parade. Veterans, parents and family are welcome to view the parade along the parade route.

• Route:
  • West on Talcott Street
  • North on Metcalf Street
  • East on W Ferry Street
  • South on Puget Street
  • East on Talcott Street back to schools

Skagit County Veterans Day Parade in Burlington on Saturday, November 12.
