Skagit Transit's Ride Free Day January 26th

Skagit Transit is pleased to announce it's fare-free all day on Thursday January 26th throughout Skagit County. This fare free day will support the annual Point in Time Count and other efforts to end homelessness in Skagit County. This fare-free program can help you to get to work, to educational programs, to the libraries, museums and more. It's a chance to try transit with no out of pocket cost.

The Skagit Transit Board of directors approved the fare free day which applies to Skagit Transit's local fixed routes.

Please note that children under 8 years old need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

By eliminating the fare this day, we hope more riders will take advantage of accessing transit to reach their destinations. Riders can see how transit reduces the cost of fuel for a family's budget. This also coincides with the Continuums of Care Point-in-Time annual count allowing easy access to any of the host locations in Anacortes, Mt Vernon, Burlington, and Sedro-Woolley.
